Lee Rubin is the founder of the Lady Ravens Club Softball program.
“Coach Lee” is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington where he was named to the schools “Silver Anniversary All-Time Baseball Team.’’ Following his college career, he played 5 seasons of professional baseball and served as the hitting coach for the Kalamazoo Kings in the Frontier Professional Baseball League in 2010. When his playing career ended, Lee set his sights on building a club softball program which put the emphasis on player development above all.
Starting with a group of 1st year 12u players in 2015 Lee admits, “There’s no greater joy than to watch the girls who started in your program develop into varsity softball players. It’s like rooting for your family.” With teaching serving as a central tenet for the program’s success, Coach Lee and his staff continue to accomplish their goals of helping young players achieve their softball dreams.
